LTA Safeguarding Policies
As a club affiliated with the LTA, we are required to comply with their safeguarding standards, which include:
- Safe recruitment practices: Coaches undergo comprehensive background checks, including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
- Code of Conduct: We have a strict code of conduct for all members, players, parents, and volunteers. Promoting respect and positive behaviour at all times.
- Training: All committee members undergo safeguarding training, ensuring they are aware of the latest policies and how to handle concerns appropriately.
- Reporting procedures: We have a clear and accessible procedure for reporting any safeguarding issues, with a designated welfare officer available to provide support.
